Description

 I am working on behalf of a client who is looking for a hardworking, reliable person to be welcomed into their family to nanny their young child. 

Key attributes required for this post include,

·         Previous experience working with young children - preferably in a nursery environment.

·         Highly motivated to be a lone worker.

·         Flexible approach to working environment.

·         A warm, caring nature who works well within a small family unit.

·         First aid training is preferred but not essential

Duties in this post will include;

·         Providing educational activities for small child which are age appropriate

·         Caring for personal hygiene needs as required eg. Changing nappies

·         Maintaining a safe environment for small child.

·         General tidying up of activities, planning and preparing activities when child is asleep.

The successful applicant must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of the family home.  All applicants should be aware the family have 2large friendly dogs which will be around the house.  All applicants must be non-smokers.

Hours of work are flexible but initially 16hours split over 2days is preferred.  One evening per week would be expected.  This post will be on a temporary basis, but will made permanent once probationary period is successfully completed. 

All applicants must have full PVG clearance.
