A new state of the art secondary school academy in the Blackburn with Darwen area is looking for an ambitious, well qualified and highly motivated candidate to teach across the full ability and age range in a very successful Mathematics Department, to start after the Easter break.
Candidates must have experience teaching Maths to all ages and abilities with good classroom management. Strong behaviour management is essential. Good planning and preparation skills are also required. Experience teaching Maths to KS5 is desired.
The school is a multi-cultural academy with a strong staff support system in place. The Maths department is hardworking and despite the small behaviour problems the school has the Maths department is highly successful.
The position is to cover a maternity leave for a minimum of three terms.
